This recall involves the "REVERSA Cleansing Micellar Solution" skincare product by Dermtek. The product is sold in a clear 300-mL bottle with a blue cap. It can be identified by UPC code 06752000455 0 and lot number K0300D.
This voluntary recall is initiated by Dermtek Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as a precautionary measure due to possible contamination of the product by the bacterium Burkholderia cepacia.
Neither Health Canada nor Dermtek Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Approximately 7,185 units of the recalled product were distributed to Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada.

The recalled products were sold between April 20 and 24, 2012.
