Product description
This recall involves the Lighted Wall Dragonfly which is a decorative light set in the shape of a large dragonfly and is identified by Model 32219 and SKU number 2594619. The light set features 40 mini-lights interwoven into the wings, and has a red CSA label on the power cord.
Hazard identified
The lights can overheat causing the plastic to melt at the base of multiple bulb sockets.
Pier 1 Imports has received four reports from Canada of overheating and melting at the bulb base. There have been no reports of any injuries or property damage.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these lights.
Number sold
Approximately 134 of the affected light sets were sold at Pier 1 Imports across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected light sets were sold from February 2012 to October 2012.

What you should do
Consumers should stop using the Lighted Wall Dragonfly and return it to a Pier 1 Imports store for a refund of the purchase price or a store credit. All known purchasers are being contacted directly by Pier 1 Imports.
