Hazard identified

The products do not carry the mandatory labelling and child-resistant closure as required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001, and contain ingredients that can be hazardous if aspiration occurs.

Aspiration occurs when the product is coughed up or vomited after being ingested. This coughing/vomiting could cause small particles of the product to travel into the lungs and may result in serious health effects. Neither Health Canada nor Lembex Import Inc. has received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of these products in Canada.
