Product description

The recall involves the Yakima SpareTime bicycle carrier identified by part number 8002598 and manufactured between October 2011 and October 2012.  The date code is printed on a white label and can be found on the mounting plate. The format will appear as XX XX XXXX representing the month, day and year. For example, 5 September 2012 would look like 09 05 2012.

Yakima SpareTime bicycle carriers without markings on the bolt are being recalled. If your SpareTime bicycle carrier has markings on the bolt head, it is not affected by this recall.

Hazard identified
