Reason

As a result of a consumer complaint, it was determined that two cylinders were out of specification for the carbon dioxide (CO2) level impurity. Cylinders were returned to Praxair for analysis, and testing revealed that the cylinders contained 720 PPM and 728 PPM, respectively, of carbon dioxide, which is over the 500 PPM specification. One of the cylinders still on Praxair premises contained 670 PPM of CO2. The other cylinder on Praxair premises contained 655PPM. Atmospheric air normally contains around 350 PPM carbon dioxide. The TLV-TWA limit is 5000 PPM under ACGIH.
