Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC), Mexico's Consumer Protection Federal Agency (PROFECO), and Loot Crate Inc.
Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Oven Mitts
This recall involves the Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Oven Mitts.
The oven mitt's outer shell is 100% polyester and is primarily a golden yellow colour with blue, purple, green, red and black accents, and has the UPC code 15129322 printed on the care label on the inside seams of the oven mitts. The marvel logo can be found on the upper center part of the oven mitt.
The oven mitts lack thermal protection, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Loot Crate Inc. has received 241 reports of burn injuries, including reports of the glove melting and burning consumers’ skin, 8 of which were from Canadians.
Approximately 15,000 units of the recalled product were sold in Canada at www.lootcrate.com.
In addition, approximately 358,000 units were sold in United States of America, and approximately 380 were sold in Mexico.
Time period sold
The recalled oven mitts were sold from April 20 2016 to May 19 2016 exclusively from www.lootcrate.com, in their "Power" theme box.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumer should immediately stop using the recalled oven mitts and contact Loot Crate to receive a replacement product of equal or greater value.
