Value Power Night Light Bulbs

Product description

This recall involves the Value Power® Night Light Bulbs.  The recalled bulbs were sold in a 4 pack. The bulbs are frosted white with UPC 056348051440 and item number VP01335.

Hazard identified

The product package bears an unauthorized CSA marking. There may also be an exposed filament at the bottom of the bulb, resulting in a possible shock or fire hazard to consumers.

As of January 25, both companies have received no reports of incidents in Canada and no reports of injury.

Number sold

Approximately 6,000 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from September 2013 to December 2016.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the light and return to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
