Product description
This recall involves two products: Cabela’s Brass Case Polish (item number 34281) consists of a semi-transparent 8 ounce bottle with a white cap filled with light yellow liquid. "Cabela's Case Polish" or "Cabela’s Metallic Cartridge Polish" appears on the label. The product UPC is 809579074104.
Cabela's Corn Cob Media and Brass Case Polish Combo (item number 34282) consists of a cardboard box containing a clear 8 ounce bottle with a white cap filled with light yellow liquid. "Cabela’s Case Polish" or "Cabela's Metallic Cartridge Polish" appears on the label, as well as a 6 pound bag of corn cob husks. The product UPC is 809579074111.
Hazard identified
The recalled products do not have proper hazard labelling as required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. Improper labelling could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.
As of April 24, 2017 the company has received no report of incidents in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 2,008 units of the affected Polish and 3,333 of the affected Polish Combo products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold in Canada from January 2009 to January 2017.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to their local Cabela's Canada store for a refund.
