Product description
This recall involves the Little Live Pets Lil’ Frog Lily Pad plastic toys. Each toy frog was sold with a plastic base and lid and operates with four button batteries (included) which allow for the frog to jump.

The SKU number is printed on the frog’s lower belly near its left thigh with a manufacture date code under it.
Hazard identified
When the button batteries are removed from the toy frogs, the battery’s cap can become a projectile and the battery’s chemicals can leak, posing chemical and injury hazards.
As of October 6th 2017, Dollarama L.P. has received no report of consumer incident or injuries in Canada.
In the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, the manufacturer has received seventeen reports of the battery’s cap becoming a projectile or battery chemicals leaking, including two reports of injuries for eye irritation from the battery chemicals as communicated in the previous recall carried out by a different importer.
Number sold
Approximately 1,142 units of the affected products were sold in Canada through various Dollarama stores.
Time period sold
The recalled toys were sold from September 8th 2017 to September 14th 2017.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and either dispose of the product or return it to the store for a refund (no receipt required).
