AC-5VF Power Adapter Wall Plugs sold with certain FUJIFILM Cameras
Product description
This recall involves AC-5VF Power Adapter Wall Plugs included with certain FUJIFILM digital camera models and certain serial numbers. The digital cameras were sold in a variety of colours. The adapter model number “AC-5VF” can be found on front of the adapter. The cameras are not included in the recall.
The recalled power adapter wall plugs were sold with the following FUJIFILM camera model numbers:
- X-A3
- X-A10
- XP90
- XP95
- XP120
- XP125
For camera models X-A3 and X-A10: The model number can be found on the top right corner on the front of the camera. The serial number can be found on the back of the LCD screen on a silver label.
For camera models XP90, XP95, XP120 and XP125: The model number and serial number can be found on the bottom of the camera on a silver sticker.
To check the serial numbers included in this recall, consumers can visit the company's website.
Hazard identified
The power adapter wall plugs units could crack or break, or remain in the wall and expose live electrical contacts, posing a risk of electric shock.
As of January 12, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada or the United States.
Number sold
Approximately 24,000 units of the affected products were sold in Canada, and approximately 270,000 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold in Canada between June 2016 and January 2018.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using affected Power Adapter Wall Plugs and contact FUJIFILM Canada, Inc. for a replacement wall plug and associated adapter.
For more information, consumers can contact the company's Customer Service Department by telephone toll-free at 1-833-613-1200 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday or by email. Consumers can also visit the company's website to check the serial numbers of affected products.
