Product description

This recall involves the Iris Wireless Charger used for charging wireless devices. The charger is clear/white in colour and circular in shape with model number CU9419 and date code S/N 201712 DP1986 or S/N 201803 DP2035 printed on the back of the charger.

Hazard identified

The affected product may melt and/or smoke posing a burn hazard to consumers.

As of May 4, 2018, the company has received one report of smoking, one report of melting and no reports of burn injuries, in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 1,312 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected product was sold from February 2018 to April 2018.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
