Product description

This recall involves the John Deere model 120R front loader that attaches to 2025R tractors. The front loader is mostly green with yellow accents. The model number 120R is located on both sides of the loader. The serial number is located on the inside of the left boom arm of the loader. Hazard identified

The ballasting information for the loader when attached to a John Deere model 2025R tractor is missing from the operator’s manual. If improperly ballasted, the tractor may be unstable and cause injury to the operator or bystanders.

As of May 22, 2018, Deere & Company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

Number sold

Approximately 1,335 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 11,510 were sold in the United States.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from May 2017 to September 2017 in Canada and the United States.

Place of origin

Manufactured in the United States.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled front loader and contact their John Deere dealer to have them correct ballasting information to the current operator's manual.
