Product description
This recall involves solar/battery powered, motion-activated outdoor LED light fixtures sold under the All-Pro and Defiant brands. The affected products have two light sources on top of the housing and a round motion sensor on the bottom of the housing.

Hazard identified
The batteries in the solar-powered light fixtures can overheat and cause the light fixture's housing to melt, posing a fire hazard.
As of October 5, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 7 reports of light fixtures overheating and property damage. No injuries have been reported.
Number sold
Approximately 12,000 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 350,000 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from September 2015 to June 2018 in Canada and the United States.
