Product description

This recall involves single and double burner Red Mountain Valley Camp Stoves. The cast iron camp stove package displays the Red Mountain Valley brand name.  The camp stoves are not labelled with brand or model information.

Hazard identified

A manufacturing defect on the propane hose connection can cause a leak and pose a risk of a fire and burn hazard.

As of August 16, 2019, the company has received one report of a fuel leak on the camp stove propane fuel fittings, and no reports of injury.

Number sold

Approximately 1356 units of the affected products were sold at Princess Auto stores in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from April 25, 2019 through July 26, 2019.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled camp stove and return it to any Princess Auto retail store for a full refund.
