Recall Details |
Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The certification label incorrectly states the maximum tire inflation pressure as 80 PSI and tires and rims as ST225/75R15E Tires and 15X6.0JJ Rims. However, the label should state the tire pressure as 65 PSI, the tire size as ST225/75R15D, and the rim size as 15X5.0JJ. This could lead to the wrong tire and rim size being used and/or tires being overinflated, which could lead to poor vehicle handling characteristics and increase the risk of tire failure, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Forest River provide a corrected certification label to current owners and dealers with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Forest River dealer for installation. |
