Hazard identified

Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that these chemicals are not packaged in child-resistant containers as required under Canadian law.

The lack of child-resistant packaging could result in misuse of these products and lead to serious illnesses or injuries.

Health Canada has received two reports of incidents to Canadians related to the use of these chemicals, with no reported illnesses or injuries.

Number sold

Approximately 13,952 units of the recalled products were available for sale in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from January 2008 to March 2009.

Place of origin

Manufactured in Canada.
