Babaluno brand Happy Bunny & Friends baby sleeper sizes from newborn to 12 months
This recall involves the BETSY-3 model of Babaluno brand sleepers marketed as Happy Bunny & Friends. The sleepers are pink with a bunny logo on the front, and made from 75% Cotton and 25% Polyester by OK Kids. The model "BETSY-3" appears on the tag.
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these products do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear under Canadian law.
Loose-fitting children's sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child's body. For this reason, cotton is not permitted in loose-fitting sleepwear.
As of December 5th, 2016 OK KIDS has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this sleepwear.
For information on what makes safe sleepwear, visit the Healthy Canadians children's sleepwear page.
Approximately 353 of the recalled products were sold in Canada at various stores within Quebec and New Brunswick.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from August, 2015 to December, 2016.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
What you should do
