The chairs have a brown aluminum frame and a beige sling fabric cover. They are 121 cm tall, swivel 360 degrees, and have arm rests. The model number, Lowe’s item number and date code can be found on the packaging only.
The bar stool base can break which could pose a fall hazard.
As of November 2016, the company has received 457 reports of the stool base breaking. The company has received no reports of injury in Canada, and 10 reports of injury, including scrapes, bruising, head injuries, and broken ribs, in the United States.
Approximately 1047 Garden Treasure Lakeview sets and approximately 1071 allen + roth Safford sets (4 chairs per set) were sold in Canada, exclusively at Lowe's. A total of approximately 315,000 sets of both models were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected Lakeview chairs were sold from November 2008 to December 2010 and the affected Safford chairs were sold between December 2015 and August 2016.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact 3i Corporation for a free revised replacement base and installation instructions.
