Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and YSN Imports Inc.
Propane Depot refillable propane cylinders
This recall involves Propane Depot brand refillable propane cylinders used with outdoor appliances. The serial numbers are printed on the foot ring of the cylinder. The brand logo "Propane Depot" and size is printed on the front of the cylinder.

The refillable propane cylinders can leak propane gas, posing fire and explosion hazards.
As of July 7, 2017, the company has received no reports of consumer incident related to the use of these products in Canada, and no reports of injury. In the United States, the company has received 2 reports of the connecting valve starting to unscrew from the cylinder, and no reports of injury.
Approximately 1,100 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 24,000 units were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from November 2013 to September 2016 in Canada and the United States.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled propane cylinders and return them to Propane Depot for a full refund or replacement propane cylinder.
