Jackfield polyurethane work boots, model number 60-706
Product description
This recall involves white or green Jackfield brand polyurethane work boots. The boots can be identified by model number 60-706, lot B.1. The products bear CSA tag #49964.
Hazard identified
The work boots bear an unauthorized CSA tag. The CSA group has not certified the boots. The products may not meet CSA standards and therefore may not protect from foot injuries as a result of perforation, electrostatic charges, or a blow from a heavy object, for example.
As of November 24, 2017, the company has received no reports or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 723 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from May to August, 2017.
