Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and VTech Technologies Canada Ltd.
VTech Lights & Lullabies Travel Mobile
This recall involves a 4 in 1 VTech Lights & Lullabies Travel Mobile. The mobile can attach to cribs, play yards, strollers and infant carriers. The mobile can light up and play songs, sounds and phrases. Dangling from the mobile are three soft stars that are yellow, purple and green.
The clamp attaching the mobile to the crib rail can break causing the mobile to fall, posing an injury hazard to an infant in the crib.
As of December 5, 2017, the company has received one report of incident in Canada, and no report of injury. In the United States, the company has received two reports of the clamp cracking and no reports of injuries.
Approximately 4819 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 37,000 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from June 2017 to November 2017.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact VTech for a replacement or refund.
Consumers can call VTech at 1-877-352-8697 Monday to Friday 8m to 7pm CST or by email.
Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website.
Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
