Product description

This recall involves two styles of Babies"R"Us brand bath robes. The recalled bath robes are made from 100% cotton. The BRU B is for Bear robe is beige with beige/brown striped trim, star on the hood and brown bear decoration on the front with the manufacturer number 1617347. The Koala Baby Fish robe is white with yellow trim, starfish on the hood and orange fish decoration on the front with the manufacturer number AD12003. The manufacturer number can be found on the label sewn in to the inside of the robes.

Hazard identified

The recalled bath robes do not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.

As of April 10, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 6,840 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from January 2015 through December 2017 at Toys"R"Us and Babies”R”Us stores in Canada.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled robes and can return the product to Toys"R"Us or Babies"R"Us for a refund.
