Product description

This recall involves Amazing Casting Products, Amazing Clear Cast, a two part clear coating and casting resin used for crafting.

The recall involves the product packaged in the sizes listed in the table below:

Hazard identified

The recalled products do not have proper consumer chemical hazard packaging and labelling required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Improper packaging and labelling could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of May 10, 2018, the company has received no report of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 6,308 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from January 2013 to May 2018.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Alumilite to receive a replacement product.
