Lobster Plush Toys
This recall involves lobster plush toys. The lobster plush toys are approximately 23 cm long with Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island written on the left claw.
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these plush toys do not meet the Canadian safety requirements for toys. The hard plastic eyes on these plush toys can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
As of August 30, 2018, Great Canadian Dollar Store has not received any consumer reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys in Canada.

Approximately 2859 units of the recalled toys were sold in Canada at various stores.
Time period sold
The recalled toys were sold from March 2018 to August 2018.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled plush toys away from children and discard in regular household waste or return to place of purchase for a full refund.
