Product description
This recall involves the tempered glass of the Sunbeam linear fire table with the model #9710 and UPC # 808862397104. The products involved in this recall have the serial numbers that are in the range of W1M7971030002501 to W1M7971030004991 and W1M7971030000001 to W1M7971030002491. The number can be found on the I.D. plate on the inside of the door.
Hazard identified
In some circumstances the tempered glass pane may break or shatter unexpectedly into small pieces and may pose laceration injuries to consumers.
As of August 23, 2018, Jay Trends Inc. has received 6 consumer reports of the tempered glass pane breaking. No injuries have been reported.

Approximately 500 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold between March 15, 2018 and May 31st, 2018.

Consumers should verify the serial number on the I.D. plate located on the inside of the door of each unit to determine if their product is included in the recall. If the product is included in the recall, consumers should stop using the fire pit and contact Jay Trends for the free replacement glass pane.
