Product description

The following products are included in the recall:

Hazard identified

The recalled products are not provided with the required child-resistant containers required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Improper packaging could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of October 26, 2018 the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 24 units of NuWrench Penetrant/Lubricant and 30 units of NuStainless Cleaner/Polisher were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The products were sold from 2015 to October 2018.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products. For more information, or to either return the product for a refund or request a child-resistant cap, consumers may contact Nature's Ultimate Inc. at (403) 255-1661 from 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday.

Consumers may also dispose of the products according to their local applicable waste disposal requirements.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
