Product description

This recall involves fabric and rubberwood barstools with a beige or grey fabric back and seat, and wooden legs. The barstools measure about 47 cm (18.5 inches) wide, 56 cm (22.0 inches) deep and 97 cm (38.2 inches) high. One of the following tag numbers is printed on the product hang tag: 9384419, 9391753, or 9391754.

Only the Fabric and Rubberwood barstools sold prior to January 1, 2018 are included in the recall.

Hazard identified

These barstools are being recalled because the front wooden footrest can break, posing a cut hazard.

As of November 14, 2018, the company has received 1 report of a cut incident in Canada, with minor injuries.

Number sold

Approximately 5,776 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled barstools were sold from September 2015 to November 2017.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

If customers have purchased one of these barstools prior to January 1, 2018, they should immediately stop using these recalled barstools and contact customer service at 1-800-268-2524 so that the product can be adjusted.
