Hazard identified

The child-resistant cap on some units of the product may not function as required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Improperly functioning child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of December 12, 2018 the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injuries in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately remove the product from the reach of children and contact Nature's Ultimate to identify if the child resistant cap is working properly or needs to be replaced. For more information, and to identify if you have a child-resistant cap, consumers may contact Nature's Ultimate Inc. at (403) 255-1661 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. A replacement child-resistant cap will be provided for defective caps.

Consumers may also dispose of the products according to their local applicable waste disposal requirements.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
