Shearwater Research Yellow Scuba Tank Pressure Transmitters
This recall involves yellow cylindrical scuba tank pressure transmitters marked with FCC ID: MH8A, and parts number 13004 or 13004-01. The transmitters are three inches (approximately 7.62 centimetres) in length.
The recall notice does not include the grey transmitters or dive computers.
Yellow scuba tank pressure transmitters may have the same transmission interval as grey transmitters. When the same diver uses transmitters of both colours, signal interference could be produced, causing dropped signals and loss of communication.
As of February 12, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
Approximately 61 units of the affected products were sold in Canada, and approximately 526 were sold in the United States.

The recalled products were sold from June 2017 to November 2018.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled yellow scuba tank pressure transmitters and contact Shearwater Research directly to arrange for repair or exchange of the product.
