Product description

This recall involves two models of sleep bags with legs from Perlimpinpin Inc.

  1. The sleep bags with legs are made of 100% polyester on the outside, and have a double lining made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton.
  2. The sleep bags with legs are made of 70% rayon of bamboo and 30% cotton.
The products were available in sizes 2-3 years and 4-5 years and the following styles:

Hazard identified

Health Canada has determined that the recalled products do not meet flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under the Canadian law.

Loose-fitting children's sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles and matches. Once ignited, the sleepwear burns rapidly and can cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body.

As of May 31, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 1,900 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from August 2018 to May 2019.
