Product description

The pacifier come in both blue and pink colours and has a clamping function that encompasses the nipple when it falls to the ground. The nipple is made from silicone; the housing is made from plastic.The item number on the package is 6149.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the nipple can detach from the base, posing as a choking hazard to infants and young children.

As of June 17, 2019 the company has received no reports of incidents and injury in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 16 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from November 2018 to June 2019.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected pacifiers and remove them from their children and return them to Thinka for a full refund.
