Product description

This recall involves various models of children's jackets with hood/neck drawstrings and toggles.

The following children's jackets are involved in the recall:

Snow Bean Girls winter jacket in various print & solid styles.
Winner College Uniform Boys winter jacket in grey colour.

Unknown Boys winter puffer jacket in burgundy with white print on left chest.

 

Hazard identified

Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

As of November 12, 2019 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 695 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from August 2019 to November 2019.

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the children's jackets to eliminate the hazard.
