CKX brand Titan and Mission helmets manufactured between May 2016 and March 2020
This voluntary recall involves CKX Titan and Mission helmets for recreational sport motor vehicles. The affected products can be identified by the name Titan or Mission appearing on a sticker on the outside of the helmet, or on the interior label of the helmet. The helmets were available in sizes XS to 3XL.
While adjusting the long chin curtain, consumers can unknowingly detach the neck strap if the rapid-release tab becomes stuck. The helmets can then fail to fasten properly, resulting in an injury hazard in the event of an accident.
