This recall involves the Merkury 4-Port Charger with Wireless Pad with Product Number 399-3581 and Model Number MIC-QISC2. The model number can be found on the back of the unit. 

Hazard identified

The recalled wireless pads can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

As of September 2, 2020, the company has received 5 reports of incidents where the wireless charger overheated in Canada. No injuries have been reported.

Number sold

The company reported that 5,100 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from June, 2018 to July 2020.
