Product description

This recall involves only the 2021 models of the Norco Storm 4 and Storm 5 bicycles. These bicycles are equipped with the Sugek CS-M3007 7-speed cassette.

Bicycles with the serial number ranges listed below are affected by the recall. The serial number can be found underneath the bicycle's bottom bracket.

Hazard identified

Under extreme pedaling, the chain may skip on the cassette, causing the rider to lose control, posing a fall hazard. 

As of September 9, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Number sold

The company reported that 1385 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from April to September 2020.
