SALT Lounge Chairs
This recall involves the SALT Lounge Chairs consisting of a metal tube frame and a fabric seat cushion. There is a locking mechanism on each side of the frame. The lounge chair retail price was $49.99.
The locking mechanism on the chair frame may become disengaged, posing a fall hazard.
As of October 21, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 19 reports of the frame on a Lounge Chair broke, bent, failed to lock, or collapsed during use. No injuries have been reported.
The company reported that 330 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 2,700 were sold in the United States.

The affected products were sold from April 2020 to August 2020.

Customers who purchased a lounge chair can return it to any Bed Bath & Beyond location. BBB Canada will provide a full refund of the purchase price, or a merchandise credit if the consume's purchase price cannot be determined.
