- Issue: Wood stored in the storage area under the fire pits can ignite posing a fire hazard.
- What to do: Immediately stop using the Arroyo or Hideaway Wood Burning Fire Pits. Real Flame will arrange for removal of the fireplace and provide consumers a refund.

Arroyo and Hideaway Wood Burning Fire Pits
This recall involves the Arroyo and Hideaway Wood Burning Fire Pits.
The Arroyo is a black colour chimenea-style fireplace measuring approximately 5 feet high and 1 foot 6 inches wide.
The Hideaway is a black colour round wood burning fireplace measuring approximately 1 foot 6 inches high and 3 feet wide.
Wood stored under the unit can ignite, posing a fire hazard.
As of June 15, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injury in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 1 report of fire and no reports of injury.
The company reported that 81 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 439 were sold in the United States.

The affected products were sold from December 2020 to May 2021.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using their Arroyo or Hideaway Wood Burning Fire Pits. Real Flame will arrange for removal of the fireplace and provide consumers a refund.
