Ocean and Safari Animal Wooden Tray Puzzles

Product description

Each puzzle is approximately 10x7 inches, made of natural rubberwood, with six flat wooden animals that fit into recessed spaces on the wooden tray. The Ocean puzzle features a whale, tortoise, fish, starfish, sea horse, and octopus. The Safari version features a sun, crocodile, giraffe, lion, snake, and elephant. The animals are either natural wood color, light or darker brown, with features painted in black.

The name "Wee Gallery" is printed along the right edge of the tray, and either "Ocean Animals" or "Safari Animals" is written towards the center of the tray between the animal figures. The back of the tray features a drawing of either ocean or safari themes. They are labelled for ages 18 months and up. The SKU number for the Ocean puzzle is WG 5023 and the SKU number for the Safari puzzle is WG5022.  

Hazard identified

If dropped, the tentacle of the octopus piece in the Ocean puzzle and the trunk of the elephant in the Safari puzzle may break, releasing a small part, posing a choking hazard.

As of July 2, 2021 the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 2 reports of incidents, and no reports of injuries. The company received 4 additional reports outside of North America, with no reports of injury.

Number sold

The company reported that 506 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 3,735 were sold in the United States.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from February, 2020 to June, 2021.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled puzzles and contact Wee Gallery Inc. for a refund.
