Reason

Initiating a recall of Colgate 360 Replaceable Head Battery Toothbrushes. There have been no consumer reports of adverse events or injury in Canada involving this product. However in previously discontinued devices there were a small number of reports involving rapid gas venting of the batteries, which caused the battery cap to suddenly burst from the unit resulting in a loud noise. The decision to initiate a voluntary recall of the original design of the Colgate 360 Replaceable Head Battery Toothbrush is a proactive decision based on an abundance of caution. The recall of the original Colgate 360 device will help facilitate and expedite the migration to an improved Colgate 360 design.
