Hazard identified
The affected fireplaces have a gap in the outer cabinet, which may cause nearby wood framing studs to overheat, posing a fire hazard.
As of April 15, 2019, the company has received one report of scorched wood framing in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireplaces, shut off the gas supply to the fireplace and contact the dealer where the fireplace was purchased to schedule a free repair.
